Fremont Street Experience Welcomes Aerosmith Tribute Band, Draw the Line,
to the “Summer of the ‘70s” Line Up
Three Shows Nightly for Free
LAS VEGAS, Nev. – June 16, 2010 - Fremont Street Experience presents “Summer of the ‘70s” welcomes Draw the Line, the one and only endorsed Aerosmith tribute band. From Tuesday, June 15 to Saturday, June 19 at 9 p.m., fans can rock out at the 3rd Street Stage to Aerosmith classics like “Walk This Way,” “Dream On” and “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing.” Draw the Line will perform three sets nightly, each starting after the top-of-the-hour Viva Vision shows.
Draw the Line is a Boston Music Awards Nominee that, like Aerosmith, calls Boston, Massachusetts their home. For eighteen years, this Aerosmith tribute band has followed in their idol’s footsteps, being featured in various magazines such as Rolling Stone, Classic Rock, Us Weekly, People, and more. They have toured the world, from the Virgin Islands to Japan, sharing the legacy known as Aerosmith.
Mia Tallerco, daughter of Steven Tyler, has seen the band live and said to her father, “Dad, have you seen this? From where I was standing, I couldn’t believe how much they [Draw the Line] looked and sounded just like you.” Since then, Draw the Line is the single Aerosmith tribute band to exclusively be endorsed by Steven Tyler himself and featured the group on the official Aerosmith website and Fan Club.
Draw the Line is made up of four members, including: Neill Byrnes (Lead Singer), Donnie Noyes (Guitarist), Jim Dennis (Rhythm Guitarist), and Chris Pereto (Drummer). Often mistaken for the authentic “Bad Boys of Boston,” the group even has a Steven Tyler look-alike!
The music and culture from the decade of the 1970s will be featured downtown Las Vegas this summer as Fremont Street Experience presents the “Summer of the ’70s” festival and free concert series. The 102-day promotion will kick off Memorial Day Weekend and run through Labor Day Weekend. “Summer of the ’70s” is sponsored by Corona Extra, Corona Light, Cruzan Rum, Modelo especial, Sauza Tequila Hornitos and Stoli Vodka. There will be beer and liquor drink specials available at all outdoor bars on Fremont Street Experience every night throughout the summer.
