Laughlin, Nev. – February 5, 2010 – Country and folk singer Rosanne Cash performs at Aquarius Casino Resort on Saturday, March 27 at 8 p.m. in the Aquarius Outdoor Amphitheater. With 18 albums in her discography, Cash has scored 11 #1 country singles, 21 Top 40 country singles and two gold records. She has received 10 Grammy® nominations and won in 1985 for Best Female Country Vocal Performance of “I Don’t Know Why You Don’t Want Me.”

After signing with Columbia Records, Cash’s first album yielded three Top 25 hits including “No Memories Hangin’ Round.” Cash found immense crossover success from the title track off her sophomore album, “Seven Year Ache,” as it shot to #1 on the country charts and the Top 30 on the pop singles charts. Her critically acclaimed album, “King’s Record Shop,” produced four consecutive #1 hits, including a cover of her legendary father Johnny Cash’s, “Tennessee Flat Top Box.” Also hitting the top of the country charts were the songs “I Don’t Want to Spoil the Party,” The Way We Make a Broken Heart,” and “Runaway Train.” The record garnered her a Grammy® nomination for Best Contemporary Folk Album.

Cash’s most recent album, “The List," developed from a handwritten list her father gave her containing the 100 songs he deemed most essential in country music. The first single, “Sea of Heartbreak,” a duet with Bruce Springsteen, was nominated for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals at the 2010 Grammy® Awards.

Active in the literary world, Cash has written two books, including a children’s book, edited a book of prose and is a contributing writer to The New York Times, Rolling Stone and New York Magazine. Cash is a long-time supporter of several charity organizations, advocating for SOS Children’s Villages, which houses orphaned children, and PAX, dedicated to preventing gun violence among children.
